Projects

ArtLab supports research and development in the arts and selects several projects and course-based workshops from this open call each year. We prioritize proposals from Harvard University-affiliated faculty members, teaching staff, and graduate students with departmental support. Applicants may request access to ArtLab facilities, which include a fabrication workshop, the Mead Production lab, flexible studios, and a sprung dance floor. Accepted proposals may apply for budgeted funds up to $2,000 to support their project. Please take a look at the examples of past and current projects below.

To apply for academic year 2024-2025, attach completed project proposal application to an email addressed to artlab@harvard.edu with subject line “Project Proposal.” Alternately, applicants may share their responses in the body of an email.
