GSD: Echoes of Empire
Echoes of Empire is a course offered by the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD), taught by Landscape Architect Rosalea Monacella. The course meets at ArtLab for studio sessions throughout Spring 2025.
Rosalea Monacella (ArtLab faculty-in-residence, 2025) is a Landscape Architect and scholar who has undertaken research on a number of cities around the world and generated urban masterplans for cities in China, the USA, South America, Europe, and Australia. Her expertise is in the transitioning of the urban environment through a careful indexing and shifting of dynamic resource flows that inform the landscape of contemporary cities.
