“tethered” is a collaborative dance film directed by Tony-award-winning director-choreographer Raja Feather Kelly, interdisciplinary cinematographer Sue Murad, and multidisciplinary dance choreographers Jessi Stegall and Ilya Vidrin.
Part dance film and part documentary, the collaborative film’s unifying theme is the tethering of different dimensions within partnerships. Join us for a screening of this short dance film, followed by a conversation with the creative team about their process for creating this film at the ArtLab in 2023. Jessi Stegall and Ilya Vidrin were artists in residence at ArtLab in 2020. Dr. Vidrin is a Spring 2024 Visiting Scholar at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard.
