This five-day intensive workshop (1/9 – 1/13, 2023) at the ArtLab prepares students to compete in the Radcliffe Institute Public Art Competition. Students should plan to arrive with a concept that can be developed throughout the week and attend all five workshop sessions.

Oopsa, a creative studio/agency working across architecture, design, and public art, will lead the workshop with Radcliffe Institute Curator of Exhibitions Meg Rotzel.

The Radcliffe Institute Public Art Competition (RIPAC) is a biennial competition that invites students to submit designs for the installation of original public artwork in the Susan S. and Kenneth L. Wallach Garden in Radcliffe Yard.

The competition and workshop are open to all undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a Harvard degree program. Students may apply for the Radcliffe Institute Public Art Competition individually or as a team.
