Artist-in-residence, James Goggin, will deliver a multi-media lecture entitled Pop Culture Colour Theory. Employing a custom soundtrack and multi-screen projection, Goggin shares his research that critically investigates the commodification of color in popular culture.

In Pop Culture Colour Theory,  James employs a custom soundtrack and multi-screen projection to share his research about color drawing from science, pop culture and music.

James Goggin is an artist-in-residence at the ArtLab in collaboration with the Harvard University Committee on the Arts (HUCA). 

James Goggin is co-founder of Practise, a graphic design studio based in Providence. Practise works across a variety of media in collaboration with a diverse range of individuals, organizations, and companies. This graphic design office to operate equally as a useful service and as a space for research, speculation, contemplation, and experimentation.
