An interactive, touchable art installation in which the components periodically undergo state-changes, created by Buse Aktaş.
The installation includes elements from and is an iteration of the first research study exploring how people haptically engage with objects that change their mechanical properties during interaction (publication in preparation).
Buse Aktaş received her PhD in Engineering Sciences (Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science) from the Harvard Biorobotics Laboratory in SEAS, and displayed this installation as a capstone for her secondary field of study in Critical Media Practice.
