ArtLab at Harvard University is an energy-efficient, net-zero building designed by architecture firm Barkow Leibinger to support visiting artist residencies, art research, and production by Harvard students and faculty.
Applications are reviewed quarterly on a rolling basis, and we accept proposals for residency and project support or engagement by a faculty-led course. For more information and to see the previous residencies, please visit the ArtLab Residencies Page.
Public access to the ArtLab is limited to public events and appointments. Please reach out to book an appointment or discuss an idea with one of the ArtLab team members.
Black lives matter. Black voices matter. Black artists matter. The ArtLab is committed to becoming an anti-racist arts program and creating greater diversity in our organization's programming and opportunities. We will also advocate for structural change within the University and beyond.
Persons with disabilities are encouraged to participate in all ArtLab programs. If you anticipate needing any accommodation or have questions, please contact the ArtLab at artlab@harvard.edu or 617-384-0046 in advance of your participation.
