ArtLab at Harvard University is an efficient, net zero energy building designed by architecture firm Barkow Leibinger. The ArtLab consists of a series of flexible studios and workshops that support research, production, and interdisciplinary collaboration by Harvard faculty, students, and visiting artists.
We accept proposals for engagement by faculty-led courses, and advisors of the ArtLab nominate residencies. We host residencies and public programs year-round, and information is available on this website.
The ArtLab is committed to becoming an anti-racist arts program and creating greater diversity in our programming and opportunities.
Public access to the ArtLab is limited to public events and by appointment. Please reach out to the ArtLab staff to schedule an appointment or discuss a project idea. If you anticipate needing accommodations or have questions about accessibility, please contact the ArtLab at artlab@harvard.edu or 617-496-7834.
